MCAT PRACTICE TESTS!!
Here's an additional freebie. Take as many practice test that you can! The questions that are located at the end of each chapter (Kaplan Books) are not how the MCAT test will be presented. 95% of the test is passage based! I also noticed that a lot of time, the questions were NOT related to the passage. SMHHHHH... Ole AMCAS just trying to throw you off while testing your knowledge at the same time (LOL ASSHOLES). In addition to taking the Kaplan practice test, I also purchased the practice test and flashcards from the AMCAS website. I found the AMCAS practice test to be harder than the tests provided by Kaplan. If I can think of anything else I will be sure to post!!
Mini personal update:
I'm finding that as my MCAT test date draws near, I'm not ready and I have not had the time to study as much as I'd like but personally I believe that you will never be ready for this test/beast. Sighhh but I refuse to give up!! I'm going to keep pushing...that's all I can do.
Score: After taking my first practice test, my score was 472 smh the lowest score you can receive. On the next practice test my score increased by 10 to 482 which really gave me a confident boost. Then I took the damn AMCAS practice and lets just say it killed my confidence. The damn CARS passages were long and dry! The Bio and CARS sections killed my score (Teaching yourself biochem can definitely screw you (clearly))!! Siggghhhh so my plan is to continue to study and take practice up to my test date of June 17th. If I continue to increase my practice test score by at least 5 points I will be good to go but I'm sure that it won't be that easy LOL!
