ACCEPTED!! CARIBBEAN????
Yesterday I received the news that I was accepted to medical school!!! I am officially a medical student (well almost lol). The school that I spoke about in my previous post wants a sista!! LOL! I am still taking the MCAT next Saturday to give the US process one more shot although I have moved forward with reserving my seat with my new school. I will post in a day or so about the program and speak about the stigma that plagues not only Caribbean schools but this program specifically. The 3 programs that I have applied to in the Caribbean are accredited in the US, offer federal loans and I will be able to practice (anywhere) in the US. I think I might start a new blog documenting my new journey/adventure....hmmmmm...

OMF'nG Congrats, I know youre super excited to get your first acceptance! When I think of Caribbean schools I think of having a year long vacation (minus the study LOL) and have a friend who is wrapping up her 4th year at a Caribbean school! I look forward hearing more about how everything goes!
ReplyDeleteYes I was so excited!! I cried like a baby lolol! It will def be a longggggg vacation with lots of studying. LOLOL! That's awesome! I love hearing about others that may have taken the Caribbean route, especially when they are kicking butt!! As soon as I finish up my last attempt at this ugly MCAT I am going to tell you about it. I also have some questions for you. I need to email you my long list of questions (about the path to medicine :)) if that's ok with you?
