MD, DO AND CARIBBEAN APPLICATION
In May of this year, I started my MD and DO application process. I pretty much had everything ready to go minus my MCAT score. After receiving my score on August 1st, I had to go back to the drawing board and study for round 2 (LOL). Depending on what score I receive this time around will dictate how many US programs I can apply to. It is pretty late in the game but I refuse to throw in the towel. I have already been accepted to AUA College of Medicine in Antigua and I also applied to Ross School of Medicine, and AUC School of Medicine; all in the Caribbean. Unlike others, I didn't think twice about applying to Caribbean Medical Schools. I have always stated from day 1 that I was open to applying to US and Caribbean Schools. Whoever was willing to assist me in living out my dream of becoming a physician was the school for me! LOLOLOL!
When it comes to Caribbean Medical Schools there use to be the "TOP 3 MEDICAL SCHOOLS"! Now there are several other Caribbean Medical Schools who have been added to that list. I will actually list them below based on Tiers:
The 2016 Rankings: (This shows the schools based on rank and accreditation)
Tier 1: Accredited, NCFMEA, NY, CA, Title IV, can practice in 50 states
1. St. Georgia University (SGU)
2. American University of the Caribbean (AUC)
3. Ross School of Medicine
4. Saba University
Tier 2: Accredited, NCFMEA, NY, CA, Title IV
1. American University of Antigua (AUA) - This program will move up to Tier 1 in 2019 pending Kansas eligibility (Whoop Whoop!!)
I will not list the other 5 Tiers as I did not apply or research these programs.

Hopefully this makes sense to you guys. If not feel free to leave me a comment and Ill be happy to go a little more in depth. :)
