Friends...

What a feeling!!!

A friend and I were talking about school today via e-mail and I voiced my concerns about being over my undergrad courses. The convo went like this:

Me: "I just want to be done with undergrad Big D. I'm over it. LOL! I'm ready for the big school (medical school). I have never wanted something so bad in my life!"

Big D: "Yeah I feel you, it would be nice for us to skip to where we are going, but unfortunately we can't. Unfortunately we have a lot to do before we get there, but you are making great progress and pushing, so don't let it get to you. Med school will come for you, I have no doubt it will with your passion, but don't let your passion get so strong to where it will overwhelm you and discourage you. It will come when its time, all the work you have done and will do will make it that much sweeter when you get there. Remember you are doing it for yourself and for the Lord and the gifts he has blessed you with. You will get there, just keep putting in the work that you have already been doing."


Wow!!! But he’s right. It will all come in due time. I just have to be patient. God truly has plans for me.    


Side note: I am so grateful to have such great friends. So encouraging and supportive…Lucky me!
