FINDING A NEW SCHOOL AND MOVING ON...

Well guys... my time at my community college GPC has come to an end and boy am I freaking out lol! I've been there for 2 1/2 years and it's conveniently located around the corner from my house. It's like my second home. Sighhhh... I'm definitely going to miss that place including all my friends and professors that I have met over the years, but hey it's time to move right?? (pissed/sad face) Back on topic... I was accepted to GSU starting this Fall semester; however, since I switched jobs it made sense to switch schools as well. My new school KSU is 2 exits from my new job and they have one of the best Psychology Programs, which I am super excited about. So0000 (drum roll) I will be a junior at KSU this Fall instead of GSU and to be perfectly honest GSU offered no night classes and it's downtown, which equals dangerous as hell! LOL! But hey screw that place back to my new place...I'm in love with my new school. The campus is gorgeous and the food is amazing. KSU was voted one of the best college dining halls in the US. AWESOME right??? Oh and yes, the food was amazing!! LOL! Anytime you can go to a school cafeteria and receive shrimp, bbq, grilled tilapia, see a roasting pig (a whole pig btw), crawfish and many other amazing foods than you are definitely eating with the best lol! Well I have to go guys. I will fill you in later about my tour, orientation and new class schedule.

Oh btw I put a hold on taking the MCAT in the early Spring because I applied to KSU so late that I couldn't get into organic chem this coming semester (Fall) so I'm going to take (Organic) it in the Spring and Summer of 2014 and then I'll take the MCAT late Summer of 2014. I'm also trying to save up for the Kaplin review class that's $2,000.00 (OUCH).

  1. Hi! Congrats on moving on to KSU. I just wanted to say, that I took the Princeton Review MCAT class and it is really great! Although, I will tell you one thing: those classes move very fast, and what I would do differently in my experience would be to take the class as a "final review". Do your content review before the class, they move very rapidly so you want to have your content down and "polish" it and work on technique in the course rather than relearning. Just my two cents. =)

I also have a blog check it out:

  2. Hello Daniella~
Thank you for the awesome advice. A fellow Premed friend and I are both torn between the Kaplin course and the Princton Review; however, based on your success with the course I'm starting to think that PR is the way to go! My first semester at KSU starts on the 16th of August. Wish me luck!

Oh, and thanks for commenting and reading my friend! :)
